Great Sankey Parish Council – update April 2020

During the current Coronavirus pandemic, the Parish Council is operating through its Executive Committee, with meetings being held at least once per month via video conference. The community centres have been closed with the exception of Hood Manor Community Centre – this is being used as a donation and distribution hub by the volunteer group ‘Support Our Elderly and Vulnerable – Great Sankey and Penketh’. Great Sankey Parish Council is supporting the group by providing basic food items which are being distributed to those in need across the whole Parish. The Parish Office is not open to the public, but office staff are still monitoring answerphone messages and emails. Members of the public are encouraged to contact the Council with any queries on 01925 712279 or [email protected] and we will respond as soon as possible.
