✅ The Council approved its Annual Governance Statement and 2025/26 accounts following a positive internal audit, with a few improvements agreed to keep things running smoothly.

🎉 Excitement is building for Sankey Summer Fun Day, with final plans now in place for another fantastic day for the community. The event will include a dedicated SEN hour, entertainment, family activities and plenty to enjoy throughout the day – we can’t wait to see you there!

🌳 Councillors also agreed to begin exploring ideas for community landscaping at Childs Wood Field, with residents set to have the opportunity to share their views through future community consultation before any longer-term plans are considered.
