Great Sankey Parish Council monthly meeting: highlights from September 2017 meeting

The meeting took place at Chapelford Primary School’s meeting room on 13th September 2107.

There were several residents in attendance at the meeting to ask the Council for an update on Parsonage Way field. Peter Watson, the Chairman confirmed that the Council is currently obtaining advice and costings from Warrington Borough Council for the drainage, replacement of the boundary railings, tree management, pathway and children’s play area. Once this information is received, the Council will discuss options, update residents and consult further on any proposals

PCSO’s reported that anti-social behaviour has reduced significantly across the Parish. The Police have been targeting youths on bikes who have been riding dangerously, particularly those performing wheelies in front of cars.

It was agreed that the theme for next year’s Great Sankey Summer Fun Day will be Superheroes. The Fun Day will be held at Tim Parry Recreation Ground on Saturday 16th June 2017.
