CCTV Installed at Tim Parry Community Centre as part of £300k refurbishment scheme

Five CCTV cameras are being installed this week at Tim Parry Community Centre and both car park areas at Tim Parry Recreation Ground.

The CCTV installation is part of a £300k major refurbishment scheme to Tim Parry Community Centre undertaken by Great Sankey Parish Council.

Karen Carter, Clerk to the Parish Council said “The works to Centre are now nearing completion and we are thrilled with the new modern look. It has been a long hard slog to get to the end of the project but looking at how fantastic the facilities are, it has been worth all the blood, sweat and tears”

The major refurbishment and redesign was needed to reconfigure internal spaces creating a modern, flexible facility to meet a range of different needs.
Improvements include brand new windows, toilets, kitchen facilities, roller shutters, heating, lighting additional storage space and redecoration. A new front extension to the main front entrance has created separate access to both the main hall and annexe room.

The Parish Council will be holding an opening ceremony in May for members of the public to come and have a look at the new facilities. Watch this space for more details!
