Sankey Seniors enjoys Boy Band Performance

Sankey Seniors return from their summer break to enjoy a lively performance from vocal trio, Crossroads Boyband.

Sankey Seniors who meet fortnightly on Friday afternoons at Hood Manor Community Centre, spent their first Friday back after the summer break dancing along to the vocal talents of local boyband, Crossroads. This performance was enjoyed along-side their usual afternoon tea.

Councillor Sue Watson, an organiser of the group said:

“We have a fabulous group of volunteers who work hard to provide a very popular, warm- welcoming social club.

The afternoon teas, which are always the highlight of the session, include a selection of sandwiches, delicious home baked cakes and endless pots of tea. We enjoy different types of entertainment, quizzes and trips out. Everyone who comes looks forward to the next session.”
